“Boring” Movement

Hello, all! I’m adding tech-corner blog so I can showcase more of the deeptech side of what we’re working on. This will be more about sharing interesting articles or tidbits of our tech that is still in development.

I wanted to start with a quick bite about your movement fingerprint. Each of us has our own routine, which (hopefully!) has been re-established post-pandemic. We call this “boring movement”. Your walk to your car, your wander around the grocery store, your trek into the office. These short segments of movement compose your movement fingerprint. Now that Brandon and I are commuting every day to Central London, we have ample opportunity to collect “boring movement” data. Here are raw clips of my commute that I collected on my way to the Tube station on two different days - similar profiles, but not exactly the same!
